We arrived at KOA for our first trip out of the season. We were so surprised by all of the wonderful changes that were made since last October. The office looks amazing and the store, wow, so inviting and clean. Check in was easy. Campsite was clean. The decorations for Memorial weekend were up and looked very nice. Staff was on top of things when a storm hit and knocked out power several hours.

Small but very nice camp place! Love the nature around us! Staffs at the front desk were super nice! We would come back again! Their pizzas were pretty good! Pool was not open when we were there but my kids played the games there.

We’d lost power due to a storm. They kept us up to date with information and alternate options. It’s a very clean and well spaced campground. I can’t wait to come back!

Such a clean & well-maintained campground! Sites were spacious & well-shaded. Gravel used on sites & roads was nicely compacted & level. Staff was very welcoming & friendly. Restrooms were very well kept. We would definitely stay here again.

This us our 3rd stay. It's clean, peaceful, family oriented and well managed. A real human answers the phone and helps you to make the best choices online. Rules are reasonable and enforced with kindness and respect. Staff is friendly and work hard to make improvements. The manager (Delaine) is informative and approachable. She communicates effectively. We will plan a family gathering here.

Beautiful area, wonderful hosts. The only downside for us would be the entrance to the park. We have a big trailer and the entrance is a blind corner on two sides and the road to get to park has a couple very sharp blind curves. Also suggest another restroom building and dog park closer to back of park. Overall great stay and will be back.

Overall a very nice stay. Facilities were clean and staff was very friendly. Tent sites could have used a little cleanup prior to use.

Where to start, this place is the best all around , the people are all fantastic, the location is perfect, the grounds are amazing. The fire pits are perfect please don't change them. We can't wait to go back next year.

Only thing was we got there early as we didn't know how long of a drive and you charged us for getting there to early but cabin was ready! Check in doesn't give you a whole day�

We stayed one night on our way to TN. It was one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed . The staff was TOP NOTCH! We definitely will be staying there again and longer this time !

The Shenendoah KOA campground is beautiful and not a parking lot! Lots of trees and space in between sites. Their bathrooms are so clean and the store is stocked of whatever you may need. The best is having a breakfast or regular pizza made at the camp store and delivered to your site. Also, super friendly staff!!!!

Very nice and considerate people. We had a small problem backing in and they came and helped us. Bathrooms are very clean. Will stay there again if in the area.

Very nice campground. Staff are nice and helpful. This place is a diamond in the rough. They are working hard at many upgrades and improvements throughout. It is very evident of all the hard work. Fresh gravel throughout and level sites. They have it well signed along the road leading from the highway and once you pull into the driveway, you just say "Wow, this is a beautiful place".

This is our third stay at this KOA. It's peaceful, quiet, family oriented, well managed and clean. Children seem to have a great time. Manager, Delaine does her job well. The staff is friendly, approachable, respectful and hard working. They work to help you solve any problem (if possible), or take care of any reasonable need - if you ask. You can reach a real human being on the phone to help you make the best choices when reserving online if you have particular needs. Again, within reason. Excellent handling of emergencies - there was a severe storm coming and staff quickly rode to sites to warn campers and give instructions. When a power line was knocked out, informative texts were sent to communicate with campers. Every effort was made to accommodate campers without power. Rules are reasonable and enforced with kindness and respect. We were visiting our neighbors around a campfire past quiet hour and a very nice young man came to let us know we needed to be mindful of other campers. Oops. Absolutely! Another thing: We tend to arrive earlier than the check in time. I called ahead of time about this and asked. Could we check in earlier or park somewhere and bide our time. I was told we can check in earlier, if the campsite was empty and cleaned up, but there would be a fee. We are willing to pay this fee and to abide by the rules and here's why: Two camp workers were interrupted from their usual tasks to accommodate our request. These workers are very busy. No well managed campground could accommodate people coming and going willy-nilly and do their regular chores.

We had the most amazing trip in our travel trailer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Delivered firewood to our campsite, collected trash after hours, and even spoiled our son on the Hey-ey ride. We had such a great time and plan to come back to visit in the fall. We were spoiled with the on-site pizza place and they delivered right to our site! The pool was so warm and the bathrooms were very clean. We especially loved that the rv checkout time was 12p so we could enjoy one last dip in the pool before heading out. Only downsides to the trip was that the roads were not bike friendly so our son wasn't able to ride very much. Site 21 did have honey bees living in a box near the road but they did not bother us and we are not allergic.

Great campgrounds, stay here everytime WE are driving by on 81 ,usually stay 4 orc5 days . Staff goes out of their way to please you .
